What is Garrison Carida (TM pending)?

Garrison Carida (TM pending) is a fan-based, Imperial Star Wars costuming organization serving the territory of Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia. The group is dedicated to service and charity work within the local community and to enhancing the Star Wars experience for all who come in contact with the group. Garrison Carida (TM pending) currently visits 9 local hospitals a year, donating hundreds of toys, and attends numerous other charitable events and conventions throughout the year.

Garrison Carida (TM pending) is ready, willing and able to accept any mission that will be of benefit to the community within the Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia areas. The 501st Legion

Garrison Carida (TM pending) is also part of a larger, worldwide organization known as the 501st Legion. The 501st Legion is the world's premiere Star Wars costuming organization comprised of over 2000 members from all 50 States and 21 countries around the world. The main mission of all members is to have fun and bring joy to the multitudes of Star Wars fans around the world, while promoting the Star Wars universe to a new generation. In 2002, actor David Prowse, the man who donned the mask of Darth Vader for all three of the original movies, accepted the position of Honorary Commander of the 501st Legion. The 501st Legion has worked closely with many of the Star Wars celebrities and also with Lucasfilm at many conventions and events all around the world.
